1. Where are all the free sounds?
In the past, we had a library full of 100% royalty free sounds. Available to download with only a single click.
However, as our community has grown, our costs increased as well (e.g. bigger team, hiring greater producers and talent, use of better gear, etc.) Therefore, we decided to incorporate a system wherein you will need to follow some steps in order to collect all of them. In a gist, you are required to subscribe to our newsletter or follow us on our social media channels.
Those may seem like unnecessary steps, but since we are just a small team of music enthiousiast running this project, we only ask you to let us connect with you through e-mail and socials, and we are truly grateful if you support the project by following us and spreading our work in your networks.

2. Are your sounds royalty free (including the freebies)?
Yup, they are! Our free sounds are 100% ROYALTY FREE. You can use them in all your musical productions, with no issue. Use them in your commercially released tracks since that’s what freebies are for!
Please make sure that you use your license strictly for musical productions/compositions. We’d prefer our sounds to not be used to build new sound packs nor be part of a third party app/software instrument. If you would like to use our sounds please contact us and we will happy to compromise.
3. How do licenses work for premium (paid for) libraries?
Audio Soundcloud is the owner and licenser of all the products/libraries for sale on https://audiosoundcloud.com. Purchasing any of our products gives you a lifetime right to incorporate these sounds in any musical production.
Please keep in mind that these licenses are strictly for musical productions/compositions. Our sounds can’t be used to build your own sound packs, third-party programs, or patches for any sampler, sample playback unit, website or computer, nor be part of a third party app/software instrument. Lastly, please understand that we only have a small team. Luckily, we can balance this out by putting a lot of effort and love in what we do, plus by building our community (please subscribe to our newsletter and socials!). Uploading our sounds to pirating sites and spreading the links in online communities is a way to diminsh our work and discourage us to continue doing what we love. Thank you for your consideration!
4. Are your samples compatible with my DAW?
We normally bring kits/packs consisting of simple .WAV files. Our premium packs are strictly published in 44.100Hz – 24Bits.
If you’re using a 16 bit hardware sampler – we’d advise you to use a converter to convert our samples to 16 bit. These sound files should be able to be used in any DAW of choice.
5. I haven't received any download link(s) after purchasing, what now?
If you haven’t received any confirmation of your purchase, there could be a variety of reasons. We’d recommend that you first check your spam folder, just in case, as our mails can sometimes be placed in your junk folder. Additionally, please ensure you gave us your correct email address.
If you have taken the appropriate steps, please feel free to contact us and we will return your message ASAP!
6. I lost my files, how can I download my packs again?
As most sample websites do, ASC works with download links with expiration dates. Therefore, in order to re-download your packs, you can send us a message through our contact form with the email address you used to make your purchase. After that, we’ll provide you with a new download link immediately.
7. Why is there no VAT added to your pricing?
Since January 1, 2015 the VAT policies (value-added tax) of the European Union were adjusted. Before 2015, VAT was based on the location of the business entity. Currently, VAT is based on the location of the customer. Therefore, it is hard for us to display the correct VAT for every country in the world.
Nowadays, we use Fastspring to help sell our products. They take care of the VAT at the end of the purchase funnel.
